Komrads Customer Story – Fast Four & NetSuite


Describing themselves as “world lovers and serious sneakers addicts”, Komrads design and ethically manufacture cool, iconic shoes and bags made from completely recycled and sustainable materials, including apple leather!  

Forming in Belgium in 2015, the brand has grown steadily whilst investing in the development of new products, and refining their core lines to perfect the combination of style, durability and sustainability. 


Following an exciting five years which has seen Komrads grow organically, and via crowdfunding, to supply retailers, distributors and major e-commerce marketplaces throughout France, Benelux and the Nordics, the business has secured venture capital investment to drive further expansion.  


To-date, Komrads has used a combination of TradeGecko to manage inventory and order processing, along with Xero for financial management. 

Citing the need to have a single overview of the business across multiple regions, whilst managing international VAT and GAAP requirements, and a rapidly evolving customer base, the business has opted to implement NetSuite with Fast Four to drive the next phase of their growth and continued international expansion. 


Komrads Co-founder Mark MJ Vandevelde explains: “We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved as a team in a relatively short period of time. Naturally, as you grow things become more complex, and for us, this is about taking control of our growth and putting systems in place which will allow us to make strategic decisions and empower our people to really grow the business.”

Setting their sights on a number of new territories including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK and Israel, Komrads selected NetSuite and Fast Four based on previous positive experiences with the companies and their ability to encompass all of the business requirements within one solution. Vandevelde continues:
